Big Christmas Stocking

This huge stocking  measures almost 20" around and is 30" from tip to toe. It really is large enough to fit a small baby in it! Or, it would also be a great way to present a new Christmas doll.

It's knitted flat in stockinette stitch, with regular heel and toe sock shaping using 2 strands of bulky weight yarn.

Yarn amounts:
375 yards Red; 125 yards Green

This is a very quick knit at 2-1/2 sts per inch on US Size 13 (9mm) needles. These pictures don't really show the size of the stitches very well - they are huge!

Kit includes pattern and enough yarn to make one stocking. Yarn is Brown Sheep Company Lamb's Pride Bulky, 85% Wool, 15% Mohair in
Christmas Red and Green (Red Baron and Turf Green)
