Fancy Knit Market Bag

This is a very sturdy yet beautiful bag. The lower section is worked from the first color change to the bottom using two strands of the main color. Then, the cast-on stitches are picked up and the bag is knitted up, dividing at the handles and working an i-cord trim along the edges.

Pattern is written for sport weight yarn. Gauge is 5 sts per inch on US Size 6  (4mm) needles. The pattern is written for knitting in the round.

Kit includes pattern and Classic Elite's "Provence", 100% Cotton, Colinette's "Zanziba", Wool/Rayon blend and Berroco's Glace', 100% Rayon ribbon yarn or Colinette's "Wigwam" 100% Cotton tape and shell button .
