Lace Mesh Scarf
(This pattern is in the book, Simply Scarves)

Lace Mesh ScarfThis pattern is a very easy lace pattern, consisting of one row repeated throughout! It's a good way to learn how to knit lace.

Scarf measures approximately 6" wide by 48" long. Knitted on US #6 (4mm) needles with 1 ball of Cravanella dress weight yarn (approximately 2 oz, 300 yards; 70% Wool, 30% Rayon).

Works with any weight yarn over any even number of stitches. Use a needle size at least 4 times larger than normal for the weight of the yarn for the lacy effect.
