| An interesting interlocking lace
pattern forms cascades of ribbons and lace. Knitted from the neck down, shawl could be any
length. Neckband is picked up and knitted in purl for a very stylish finish. The shawl is
actually 3/4 of a square for a fit that drapes beautifully and easily stays on the
shoulders.Lower
border is knitted point-by-point with just a bit of crocheting to bring the yarn from the
finished point to the beginning of the next point to avoid having to cut the yarn and
re-join it for each point. The stitches could also just be picked up and bound off if you
don't crochet!
Written for bulky and sport weight yarn, although any
weight in between would work.
