The pattern includes an oversized stocking size, as well as adult (9-13" foot), kid (7-1/2 - 9-1/2" foot/5-13 shoe), and toddler (5-7" foot/1-4 shoe) sizes. Includes schematic, alphabet chart, instructions/illustration for duplicate stitching, and more!
Gauge is approximately 4-1/2 sts per inch on US size 6 (4mm) - 16" circular and double pointed needles. The pattern is written for worsted weight yarn. Finished size of the stocking is approximately 7" wide by 26" long. Yarn amounts are 175 yards Main Color for the stocking and 75, 125, 175 for the socks plus 50 to 75 yards each of Red, Green and Natural for the stocking and 25 to 75 yards of each of three colors for the socks, depending on the sizes. The Scrunch
That Stole Christmas Holiday Stocking and Year Round Socks is a very
easy-to-knit design for knitters of all levels of expertise. It's knitted with one
hand-dyed yarn and three solid colors in bands of stockinette and reverse stockinette with
the heel and toe in reverse stockinette.
Designed to work with any worsted
weight yarns yielding 4-1/2 sts per inch. They're great
for using up those oddball skeins, too!
