Top Down Poncho for
Babies & Kids
| A very basic Poncho sized for babies &
children to age 14 is knitted from the neck down in the round. The pattern is written for
4 sizes in 4 different gauges. Begin with the ribbed neckband, or add a rolled edge, then
work the body in stockinette stitch and end with a garter stitch border around the lower
edge. |

Or, work as pictured, in stripes of
stockinette in a textured yarn and garter stitch in a smooth contrast color.
