Fairisle Stocking
A Kit by Dawn Ann & Kris

Fairisle Stocking features bands of Christmas motifs knit in green and red on a white background with red heel, toe and cuff all in stockinette stitch. It has a ribbed cuff and a plain panel for a name which can be either knit in or duplicate stitched on after the knitting is completed.

The pattern includes written instructions and charts for the fairisle motifs and the complete alphabet.

Gauge is 5 sts per inch on US Size 8 (5mm) needles. Finished size of the stocking is approximately 6" wide by 26" long.

Yarn in the kit is Brown Sheep Company's Lamb's Pride, 85% Wool, 15% Mohair or Top of the Lamb, 100% wool. Colors are White Frost, Christmas Green and Red and Charcoal. There is ample yarn for one stocking.
